Canada takes action to support housing with new immigration measures
March 7, 2025—Toronto—Immigration is essential to our country’s economic success and growth. To meet the growing demand for housing, Canada needs a strong construction and skilled trades workforce, and immigrants play a vital role in fulfilling these needs.Today, the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced the government’s intent to introduce a number of new measures to support Canada’s construction industry. Minimum Wage in Germany Increased by 50.8% in the Last Decade

Latvia leads EU on women doing doctoral studies
Eurostat data published March 3 shows Latvia leading the European Union when it comes to the proportion of women in higher education undertaking doctoral-level studies.Among the 1.5 million master’s students in the EU in 2022, 905 678 were women, representing 58.6% of the total.
