In Northern Europe, Estonia is a small country. Estonia provides a lot of space and opportunities for foreigners to come here to study, considering its size. It is one of the world’s greenest nations, on the one hand, and has a very low population density, making its living environment very health-friendly. On the other hand, as it is an innovative digital country, Estonia is the perfect place to interact with the whole world.

It is more convenient for students to live and study in Estonia because Estonia is a highly digitalized environment. Without ever leaving home, it is very common to declare your taxes online (in 2 minutes), make bank transfers via mobile phone or do your weekly grocery shopping. The principles and fundamentals of coding are taught to children as young as 7 years; programming use is typically common in all fields of life.

Estonia has living rates that are very manageable. The same can be said about studying in Estonia-many scholarships and tuition-free programmes especially at the Master’s level, are available. Estonia also has fair requirements for learners to search for a job, in addition to being affordable. During their studies, foreign students are permitted to work full-time, as long as it does not interfere with their education. Taking up a job does not require a separate permit-it automatically guarantees the right to work if an international is permitted to study.

After graduation, students are also permitted to remain in the country for six months to look for jobs. If you don’t speak the local language, it is not always easy to find a job; but most Estonians speak English, and the field for English-speaking positions is growing. There is an international job fair specially organized for foreign students, which also helps bring businesses and students together.

Estonia is still a very recent discovery among international students and the number of international students is rising every year by almost 20 percent. There are students from neighboring nations, such as Finland, Russia, and Latvia, from other European countries such as Germany, Italy, UK, etc., and from other countries across the world, such as the United States, Georgia, India, China, etc., all from 90 different countries. The student body is very diverse. They can all choose from 140 degree programmes completely taught in English.
